Since we were already up, we packed our cold and chilly tent and headed into the town of Munising for a quick breakfast so we could hop on the Pictured Rocks boat tour.  Okay… prepare yourself for some amazing scenery!  I admit, I went a little overboard with these, but if you only knew how many photos I edited out!  It was like entering Mother Nature’s Art Gallery!

If you are wondering how this tree, in the above photo, is surviving on that rock, look to the left of the photo and you can see it’s roots reaching over to the land!

After the boat ride I felt a little woozy, so we ate some lunch and stopped at a winery, that would clear up my head!  We stopped at one more waterfall, Munising Falls (I know, they’re getting kind of boring by now).

Then we found an Econo Lodge (this is only worth mentioning because it had a bed and it was warm) on the outskirts of Marquette, a super adorable town.  We ate an incredible dinner at the Sweet Water Cafe and went back to the hotel and crashed.

I had never heard of the Pictured Rocks but they are awesome!

Thanks for sharing the great pictures – I did not get bored. We didn’t get to go on the boat ride when we were there so we just a few of the fantastic Pictured Rocks.
