While in Costa Rica, being the nature lovers that we are, we visited and hiked in the first Nature Reserve in Central America, Cabo Blanco. It was awesome! This was my favorite place that we went to and we went back for a second day of exploration. Even with a stuffy head cold, I still enjoyed it. I think the humidity helped me. We saw Howler Monkey’s, which make a really scary, deep, hollow, howling noise, that if heard in the dark, I would definitely freak out. But when you see them in the daytime, they appear to be harmless and are just hanging out in the trees napping. We ended our day with a pink sorbet sunset and a candle lit dinner at Playa de los Artistas with gazpacho and empanadas on the beach.
