Kaua'i Day 9
We awoke to low rolling clouds and fog, so I ran out of the room to catch some photos. I love foggy days!
Jungle fowl (rooster). Amazingly this is the only photo I have with any chickens in them! They are everywhere, like squirrels, squirrels that cock-a-doodle-doo every morning. At first it’s really funny and then kind of annoying and then you just get used to it.
Then there’s this incredible business! Next door to our favorite burrito stop, Da Crack, is a grocery store and in the back of the grocery store is this little juice bar where they conjure up these blended fruit bowl concoctions. This was so refreshing!
After we filled up on fruity goodness we headed to another beach in Poipu and eventually the clouds and fog went away to reveal a perfectly beautiful day.
An endangered Green Sea Turtle! This was so exciting! Such an adorable creature! Once again though, I was not allowed to cuddle.
A margarita is always tasty after a long hard day at the beach.
